Welcome to Aspen 2

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of our new Aspen 2 pupils in September. 

Aspen 2 is a specialist resource provision attached to the mainstream Dover Christ Church Academy and as such we provide a bespoke support and curriculum for those of you joining who have specific special educational and health needs. 

We also strongly encourage inclusivity with the mainstream academy not only academically for those that may be able access lessons but also within assemblies, extracurricular clubs and social times. We realise for pupils with SEND transition can be a period of anxiety and we aim to reduce this through our transition process and programme. 

Whilst transition days follow the same structure as the mainstream pupils, we are also able to offer bespoke arrangements such as additional transition visits or meetings. Karen (Administrator) and Rachel (FLO) carry out our Welcome Meetings to answer any questions you may have and do an excellent job supporting pupils and their families through this transition. 

Much of the information on the mainstream section of the website is the same for Aspen 2 so please refer to this e.g. for uniform, free school meals.
